Facebook Ad — Packaged Meal Service

TARGET: Upper middle-class millennials who eat healthy or are on specialized diets.

GOAL: When Atlanta-based FreshNFit Cuisine saw new competition enter the market, it convinced them to commit to a small social media ad spend. We needed to create an initial ad to show the business what results a small spend could get so that they would understand how much more they might get with a larger spend.

CONCEPT: I decided to write the ad from the POV of one their typical customers, addressing the pain points that cause most them choose the meal service: they don’t have time for intense meal prep and it’s difficult to find healthy prepared meals at a reasonable price.

RESULT: The ad was very successful in getting a significant amount of clicks, convincing the client he needed to do more social media advertising. The cost-per-click rate for this ad was $.63, and the average for this industry is $1.93. His complex website prevented him from getting more conversions, so this also contributed to him deciding to begin the long process of updating his e-Commerce site.
